Kael Taylor '26 Recruiting Profile

My ultimate goal is to go on and play professional soccer after college.  I strive to be a leader on every team that I play on. My coaches rely upon me to help with warmups and to motivate my teammates and encourage them. I have the vision and ability to take players on, one on one. Soccer is my passion; I'm a gritty and resilient player and I've been blessed to be coached by some of the best coaches out there. I am a great student, I am not only on the honor roll with a 4.14 GPA, but I also do volunteer work for my community in my spare time. 

Some of my most recent accomplishments are that I was invited to join the 2023 ODP National Select Team & was just awarded Save of the Year by US Youth Soccer as well a Kansas Youth soccer!  This past summer my club team won Elite 64 Nationals, so we are two time National Champions because were National champions in 2022 as well! We are headed for a Three peat this summer in July to Orlando!

I can take on physical attackers in the air and win challenging 50-50 balls. I am also highly accurate with my punts and throws allowing my teammates time and space to set up possession. In addition to my work between posts with my club team, I also have earned Kansas All-State High School Kansas Goalkeeper of the Year, All-State Highschool 1st team Kansas, All Sunflower League Goalkeeper of the year (6A) First Team All Sunflower League (6A) for the 2023 season as a sophomore.

I was recently named National League Pro Best XI for 2024!
