Kael Taylor '26 Recruiting Profile

My ultimate goal is to go on and play professional soccer after college.  I strive to be a leader on every team that I play on. My coaches rely upon me to help with warmups and to motivate my teammates and encourage them. I have the vision and ability to take players on, one on one. Soccer is my passion; I'm a gritty and resilient player and I've been blessed to be coached by some of the best coaches out there. I am a great student, I am not only on the honor roll with a 4.14 GPA, but I also do volunteer work for my community in my spare time. 

I can take on physical attackers in the air and win challenging 50-50 balls. I am also highly accurate with my punts and throws allowing my teammates time and space to set up possession. In addition to my work between posts with my team, I earned Kansas All-State High School Kansas Goalkeeper of the Year, All-State Highschool 1st team Kansas, All Sunflower League Goalkeeper of the year (6A) First Team All Sunflower League (6A) for the 2023 season as a sophomore. I was also named National League Pro Best XI in 2024! 

Some of my most recent accomplishments are that I have been given the opportunity to train with the SKC 1st and 2nd teams and have also been rostered to play with the 2nd team for my 1st professional game.
