Jason Liem '24 Recruiting Profile

Soccer has been a part of my life ever since I was born. My dad passed on his set of skills and knowledge of the game to me as a kid and I'm always improving even till this day. From starting on the worst team possible in my first years of premier soccer, I've climbed my way up the ladder and faced many adversities. Now, I am playing amongst the top teams in the state of Kansas.  I've always had a great understanding of the game and have always taken it very seriously knowing the importance of every game no matter the stakes. I will always push myself when no one else is willing to do the dirty work as a centre back.  I've preserved through so much on the field and through my academics and that has what has made me a great player. Freshman year I played JV but was brought up to Varsity for playoffs and then my sophomore year I swung JV and Varsity, but then was later moved up and I never came off the field for Varsity and later one a state championship.  

Academically, I strive in the classroom and very much enjoy school, which I have a 3.88 GPA unweighted in. I look forward to finding a school that can further my education and look forward to the coaches I talk to along the way!
