Owen Andrews '26 Recruiting Profile

Playing soccer has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. What inspires me to give me everything that I have every time I step on the field is thinking of what my parents sacrificed to give me all the opportunities. I want to major in either Systems engineering, Architecture, or some type of law school. All these topics interest me because I believe in a more philosophical point of view and am always looking to do the right thing. I seek out problems and areas of improvement. I would be a good candidate for your team because I possess the necessary skills to bring team's together and always put in the hardest shift for my team. I will never be the player that sits back and allows mediocracy to spread I will let my teammates know when they are not playing well and occasionally I will even have to remind myself that effort is a non negotiable and is one of the main factors that it takes to play at the next level. I hold myself accountable in all aspects of life I have a 4.62/5 cumulative gpa and most of that isn't from being a good test taker it's from constantly showing up to class and after school so that I know everything there possibly is to know to put myself in a position to succeed. I put myself in situations for success and strive towards becoming a better person on and off the field.
