Hello, my name is Khaai Wilson. I will be a 2025 High School graduate. I play the sport of soccer and have played since I was 3 years old.
My goal at the collegiate level is to help my soccer team reach their most successful years. I also want to be as academically involved as I can within the school. My hope is that the college team I play for will want me to play for them just as much as I want to play.
During my Freshman year, I started for my varsity soccer team. I also was nominated All-City honorable mention defense. I was out all sophomore year with a hip injury. However, the next year I was named captain of our Varsity team and played in every single game of the season. Sadly, due to our teams underachieving record, I only received All-City Honorable mention again.
I would like to play for a collegiate team that has high expectations. That's not something I've experienced much in high school, so I have to set my own expectations. I want to play in college to prove to myself that I can be a helpful player on a good college team. I won't ever stop improving my game on both sides of the ball. I've played all 10 positions of the outfield soccer game, all within a Varsity setting. I would like to believe that there isn't one position I can't conquer. I was a starting center back for a good majority of my junior season. I don't care what position I am playing as long as I can be a net positive.
My passion has always been the sport of soccer. Every time I walk on the field I get a rush a joy knowing I'm playing the sport I love, and I always feel at home. I find my success through mental toughness, and I won't ever lose to somebody in that facet of the game.
