Jacob Nisby '23 Recruiting Profile

My goal for the future is to play major league soccer. I want to pursue my education in business and marketing while attempting to make that dream a reality. I would say as an athlete what makes me different from others is my ability to adapt to any situation, be flexible, and always have a positive attitude. I love a challenge and also enjoy helping others develop their skills when I can. I have played on many teams with many players; from high school soccer to club to premier leagues. I’m constantly looking for the next opportunity to grow and develop my skills. I know that a constantly changing environment can be very intimidating at times but I think it’s important to always challenge yourself,  and look for opportunities for growth whenever possible. It has also given me a chance to learn new things, to improve my game as well as meet some incredibly great people along the way. As far as my character, I think my friends and family would describe me as confident, funny, competitive, and determined . All of which are very true and have helped me academically and athletically. My parents have really taught me the importance of a good education, staying focused, and chasing my dreams, so I am excited to see where life takes me after high school.
