My name is Brandon Bowens, I’m 14 years old, and I’ve been playing soccer since I was three. I’ve had the opportunity to play travel soccer for FC Frederick, Elite FC, and West Virginia Soccer MLS Next. Currently, I’m playing for the Elite FC 2009 and 2010 boys team, where I mostly play as a central midfielder.
I’m committed to improving my game. Since March 2024, I’ve been training 3-4 times a week at Player’s Fitness and Performance in Frederick MD, where I focus on building muscle, core strength, agility, and speed. In addition, I train with a former D1 and pro player once a week to work on my soccer IQ, dribbling, shooting, ball control, passing, and speed. I also train with my team twice a week to work on game tactics and team drills.
I’m proud to be one of the top scorers and assist leaders for both the 2010 and 2009 teams, where I’m rostered to play. Recently, I had the incredible experience of traveling to Spain to train with the Madrid Euro Soccer Academy for the second time, and I’ve been invited back to join their ten-month program in 2025.
In school, I’m in honors math and I work hard to maintain A’s and B’s in all my classes. My dream is to become a professional soccer player, and I’m looking to join a competitive program at the collegiate level where I can continue developing my skills and challenge myself to be the best I can be on and off the pitch.
