Noah Messina '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Noah Messina. I want to go to a college where I can be challenged both on the soccer field and in the classroom. 

I have been kicking a soccer ball since I could remember. I have always loved the game, and I plan to play the game as long as I can. Of course, I want to achieve results at the highest level. However, it’s not always about the results that others see. If you love the game, I believe it’s about the hours of playing and training that spectators don’t see. I think the effort you put in when no one is watching is when you discover your true self.

My greatest strength on the field is my ability to change a game in one play when I break into space with the ball at my feet. I am a versatile player who can play any attacking position, including attacking mid or striker, but I am at my best at RW or LW. No matter where I am on the field, I will always be looking to attack, but I also have good defensive prowess and cover a lot of ground.

I can hold up or break through defenders significantly bigger than me. I have exceptional one-on-one abilities, pinpoint-accurate passes, shooting or passing with either foot, relentless pressing skills, and a motor that does not stop running until the final whistle is blown. 

In the classroom, I work hard to balance my responsibilities as a student-athlete. My GPA is currently 3.43/4.0. I am currently undecided, but I am an excellent writer and critical thinker, and I plan to use those skills in whatever academic path I pursue.
