Alessandro Sternini '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alessandro Sternini, and I am a Freshman at Goucher College in Baltimore MD, where I am the goalkeeper for the Gophers Men Soccer team, NCAA III.

I’m Italian and this is my second year in USA, after graduating at Williston Northampton School in Massachusetts with GPA 4.0.

Before coming to Williston, I played as a goalkeeper for S.S. Lazio, a professional youth team in Rome, Italy. I played with them many years starting with U14 up to U18 teams. In the youth professionalnational league, we had the opportunity to play matches every year against great teams such as Juventus,Inter and Milan, and we were able beat them many times.

I have also had some international experiences, such an important tournament (WANDA CUP) in Madrid -Spain, and three camps at the Next Generation Keeper Training School in Toronto - Canada.

My target is to undergraduate in USA. My Major and Minor are Economics/Computer Science, playing soccer as GK in the college team.

This will allow me to continue my wonderful experience in the USA, and maybe provide the opportunity to work and play soccer in the United States.
