Hello Coaches, my name is Finn Walsh I am a class of 2028 I play for Mass International Football Club based out of Weymouth Massachusetts I also attend Hull High school where I currently play varsity soccer as a Sophomore. At my High-school I average a 4.32 weighted GPA in all honors courses and take part in clubs such as PHI, (People against Humanitarian Issues), I also play on the basketball team and run track where I qualified divisional for the 400 meter.
During my fall season at Hull High school I was able to work for a starting spot at Center defensive midfield where I started every game and put in 3 goals over the course of the season. My team entered the tournament and made it 3 rounds before having a challenging game and losing 3-1. After the season I was awarded South Shore League All Star where I was the only freshman and one out of four people on my team including two seniors and a sophomore to be awarded an All star. During my Spring Club Season my team and I went undefeated throughout the season to then make the tournament and loose in the finals, I know I can be a good candidate to your teams because of my hardworking personality, positive attitude and team-oriented mentality.
What sets me apart from other recruits is my ability to out work anyone, whether its early morning training or a tough game, I will not stop working. I’m quick on my feet and fast, while always looking for ways to contribute. I am proud of my attitude and composure on the field and being coach-able and receptive to criticism from coaches or teammates. Another skill of mine is my ability to balance a great GPA and academics with high-level athletics.
Thank you for considering me, and I would love to discuss how I can contribute to your team while pursuing my education.
