Eli Dain '27 Recruiting Profile

I have played goalie in club soccer at Valeo FC since I was six years old, the last three on Valeo's MLS Next team. This season, I am splitting my time between my age group 2009s and playing up a year with the 2008s. With Valeo, we have played games all across the country (California, Texas, Florida, and across the East Coast) and internationally (Ireland, Canada). I have had success as a goalie against the top competition in the country, including a clean sheet against the Colorado Rapids MLS Next 2009 team at the IMG Cup 2023. I have also played futsal at the top level. My club, Ginga Futsal Factory is one of the most successful futsal clubs in the country. This past season, my 2009 team won the Eastern regional championships at Atlantic City. I had a clean sheet until the last minute (when we let up) in a blowout win in the semifinal game against the Philadelphia Union's 2009 futsal team. At the northeast regionals this past year, I also subbed in goal for the New England Revolution 2008 futsal team. I am passionate about soccer. I attended soccer camps each summer through middle school. During the pandemic, to get more goalie training, I joined United Goalkeeper Alliance, for its weekly goalkeeper webinars. I have always been a leader on all my teams, forming strong relationships with all the other players. And I am dedicated to my training. It is my dream to play goalie on a top soccer program in college.
