As long as I can remember, I have wanted to play college soccer. I enjoyed playing baseball and running cross country competitively when I was younger, but while having great success in both, I gave those sports up to focus exclusively on developing my soccer skills. I played 10 years of Quincy A Team Spring & Fall Travel and have played with Quincy AFC United/Bolts for numerous Fall, Spring, and Winter indoor seasons. My parents and grandparents have taught me the values of working hard and being committed to my goals. I work hard on my conditioning in the off-season and as a team leader I take practice time very seriously. I have mostly been an offensive player in my career, but as a junior in High School the coaches asked me to switch to defensive center back and anchor the defense. I willingly accepted this role because it was what was best for the team. I was able to use my field vision to help start the offense from the backfield after defending and then using my speed and endurance to attack from the defensive end of the field. During this past off-season I took a leadership role with organizing and Captaining our High School Fustal team and serving as Captain of our Winter Indoor Travel team. I was Captain of our Spring - Quincy Travel A Team that qualified for the 2022 MA State Tournament of Champions and served as Asst. Captain of my AFC Team. This past Summer I played for MA Youth Soccer Selects - District 2 in Summer of 2022 as a Tri-Captain advancing to the championship game. As a four year varsity player, I was named Captain of my High School Varsity Team for Fall 2022 where I led my team in goals and assists playing forward and attacking midfielder. I was nominated for Eastern MA Player Of The Week. I have volunteered in my community consistently since I was 8 years old and I work hard in school. I coach youth soccer, so my love of the game is evident. I am excited about the opportunity of playing college soccer. Thank you for your consideration.
