As a student and a player, there is really only one thing on my mind and that is knowledge. A lot of recruits may well be known for their physical attributes and for their endurance. While this is key for any athlete, for me what sets me apart from them is my mental ability. I learn both on and off the pitch everyday in fact. Through my education I am asked to observe and analyze everything to prepare myself for more than just the classroom. On the pitch I do the same type of thinking as I do in my English classes. I observe my teammates and their movements in order to dictate where I should be to be best support them as a Central Attacking Midfielder. From this analysis I create tactics so that I may create chances for my team to score. I always keep my head up and survey my surroundings to find gaps where I can create a chance for a breakaway. On top of all of this I am a leader. In class I participate and put my viewpoints out there so that I can communicate my ideas and hear what others have to say. With my teammates I have the same presence. I ensure that they know their roles and that there is constant communication with each other. If something goes wrong I learn from my mistake and make quick decision to fix it in order in order to benefit the team. This is who I am. I am a leader in and out of the class. I am not afraid to challenge myself and have confidence in my decisions. I am hungry for knowledge and always look to improve my weaknesses.
