My name is Ben Marceau, and I’m honored to be part of the Wakefield Memorial High School Class of 2028 in Wakefield, Massachusetts. I found my passion for soccer at the age of eight, and ever since, it has been a driving force in my life.
I began playing competitive soccer in fifth grade, starting with town travel teams and later expanding into club-level competition. Over the years, I’ve progressed through various divisions, showcasing my adaptability across multiple positions. I started as a center-back and gradually transitioned into roles as an attacking and holding midfielder. Regardless of where I’m placed on the field, I bring confidence and a strong sense of purpose to my team.
Coaches often describe me as a possession-focused player with sharp field awareness and sound decision-making, both with and without the ball. My composure under pressure consistently sets me apart from others.
My aspiration is to play soccer at the collegiate level and beyond, while also pursuing a world-class education. I lead with integrity, prioritize the team’s success, and approach every opportunity with a growth mindset. Known for being coachable, quick-thinking, and an effective communicator, I’m deeply committed to improving my own game and uplifting those around me.
