Jorden Afonso '23 Recruiting Profile

Dear College Coach,

My name is Jorden Afonso, age 15, and currently a sophmore at Worcester Academy.  I currently play forward/striker position in Club Soccer.  I am passionate and on fire to score.  I live for soccer!   

Soccer has been one of my favorite sports since my youth days.  My family is originally from Portugal.  So, Soccer has always been a huge part of my life.  It has been my goal to play at a professional level.  Something I have always wanted to do.  As a family, we watch many international games.  Watching games from FC Porto, Real Madrid, Juventus, The Portuguese National Team, any Champions League fixture or international tournaments such as the Euros and The World Cup, with my parents and family members will be memories that I will never forget.  

Some day, I would like to be able to surprise my parents by telling them I would be on the FC Porto roster.  However, I know getting there is far easier said than done, and playing at a college level is another milestone I have to reach before getting to my ultimate goal.  I know mentally and physically, the road ahead of me will be long and hard.  But, I am willing to give it my all to improve my skillset and do whatever it takes to supersede my milestone.  I will win and become the best version of me that I can physically, mentally, and technically be!

If you recruit me, I promise you will not look back.  I will give my 110% to run those fields and sweat all it takes to wear that college jersey.  I thank you for your time in taking reviewing my profile and possibly giving me a chance in a lifetime to make your college roster.   Your thoughtfulness will be greatly appreciated.
