Landon Kogelman '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Landon Kogelman, and I am currently 17 years old. I am a Senior at John Glenn High School, graduating class of 2025. I am a leader and a captain on my high school team as well as my club team. I have been a high school team captain for 3 of my 4 years and also captain for my club team. I have so much passion and love for the game of soccer. My high school team had a very succeful season. we made it to regionals and broke numerous school records. I was also honored with some amazing recognition this fall as well. TVS Sportmanship award, all district, all region, honorable state mention, individual all academic, lead em up most valuable green, and MVP. I am currently undecided about what education I want to pursue in college, but I know I want to play at the college level.

Soccer has always been more than just a game for me; I have used it for life lessons, friendships, and even how to accomplish hard things. From this, I have been able to achieve goals on and off the field. I've had the opportunity to play on some great teams and with some great players. I've been a part in leading teams to victory. Some examples include, playing in the premier division for my club soccer, the Tri-Valley Conference for school soccer, and the state cup.

One thing that makes me stand out is my endurance on the field. Very seldom do I get pulled from a game and I usually play full games. 

I take my academics just as seriously as soccer. I also don't just play soccer; I kick for the football team as well. I like to go to the gym, train outside for soccer, and for fun, play some golf with my friends.
