Robert Leeke '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Robert Leeke and I have been playing competitive soccer since 2012. I started with the Lakota Futbol Club in Liberty Township OH (just north of Cincinnati), and then joined the Michigan Jaguars FC when I moved to Michigan in 2017. In addition to playing year round, I am dedicated to off season training in the gym as well as participate in speed and agility training 2-3 times a week.

I am a 2-time Michigan Scholar Athlete (2021 / 2022), with a current cumulative GPA of 3.8. In addition I was recently named to the Lakes Valley Conference All Conference Team as an Honorable Mention.

The best way to describe my style of play is by saying I am a pass first player. I am selfless and accurate. I approach every game and every situation looking to  put my team in the best position to score and win. When I have possession of the ball I am constantly looking for the best passing opportunity while driving into open spaces. As you might imagine, I prefer and thrive in either a possession style or hybrid system.

In addition to soccer, I  love to wakesurf in the summer and ski in the winter.  Although I am undecided about my career path, I am considering Finance and Business Management.
