I’m Leo Stravato and I am eager to continue my educational studies and development as a player at the highest level possible. I currently play club at Nationals Capitol Area Academy and high school at Powers Catholic in Flint, Michigan. I also trained this summer with Lansing City FC of the USL 2 Great Lakes Division. I was added to the roster and played the final three matches of the season. This was a great opportunity that allowed me to solidify my belief that I can play with and against higher college level and aspiring professional players. Game sense, leadership, athleticism, positional versatility and compete level are my strongest assets as a team member. My preferred position is at wingback, however, I have played center back, fullback, and center mid at both the club and high school level.
I also compete in track and field for Powers Catholic and have qualified for the state meet all three years. I have recorded personal bests of 4:46 (1 mile), 1:58.49 (800m) and 51.61 (400m). Track has been beneficial to my fitness and stamina and has given me another venue to compete. My passion is soccer and I do not plan on running track collegiately.
I know I can play and have a positive impact on any team’s success. My goal is to find an opportunity at the best academic institution possible.
