Being one of the smaller players on the field impacted me very much, but being able to move the ball from one side of the field to the other, and play quick out of space set me aside from the other players. Working as a team is what I like to do, now being much bigger and stronger, I can ensure that I can control the game. Sophomore year after getting injured made me realize that I have to be doing more for myself and the team. Going to the field on my own time with friends, working out, and watching film made me more confident, have leadership, and have a desire to learn from others. I'm looking for a program that will help me improve athletically, but also academically. Being a captain on high school to being a team leader at club, I know what I have to do to become a leader for the team!
