I feel this has easily been the most significant year of development for me as a player. I was selected to the ODP State Team and have been invited to the Regional ID camp. I am now a 2 star player ranked #23 in the Great Lakes Region by Top Drawer Soccer. I am the Captain of my Club Team and led the team to the top of the Prem 1 table as the leading scorer (and assists) and my High School team, although young, had a solid season. I don't know if that makes me a late bloomer as I've always felt confident in my abilities, but all of these opportunities have helped me progress significantly as a player. Between ODP, Club, High School and ID Camps, I've played for dozens of Coaches this year and had feed back on every aspect of my game from many different points of view. I've not only learned about soccer on the pitch, but each of those coaches spent quality time discussing teamwork and character off the pitch. I don't believe that anyone is just born as a great soccer player and I don't believe anyone is just born with great character. You have to work at achieving both.
