Dylan Hayes '17 Recruiting Profile

 At 4 years old my dad was my coach and every player on the team, was my friend. I didn't think it could get better...it did. I have always thrived in a team environment, I honestly loved the camaraderie, the meshing of personalities, and the idea that together we can become a team with common goals.  I am a super loyal person, to my friends, my family, my coaches and my team. From a very young age I have been recognized as a  leader on and off the field. I am a vocal player who only bothers with positive hype to my teammates. 
Yes, scoring goals is fun, but playing defense is where the glory is for me. My strengths are my overall field vision, ball placement to my forwards, my clear communication, and the ability to play simply. I also know when to take calculated risks, have very good ball skills, give exceptional support to my teammates and goalie and am always going in for the strong tackle, and if my feet cant get to the ball first, my slide tackle or my head will!! I practice and train hard, and have fun at the same time. I don't dwell on mistakes made, I learn from them, process them and move on.
I know there is the perfect college for me! Honestly, I really want my college experience to open doors and offer choices to help me figure out which path will be best for me. Playing soccer, and being part of a team is vital to my well being and something I have never been without, it is what makes me tick and is the one thing I know for sure keeps me balanced and happy.
