Kyle Jahnke '16 Recruiting Profile

From the start, soccer has been the most rewarding and challenging aspect of my life. It has taught me so many lessons and has provided me with a platform to showcase my skills while at the same time competing with others at an extremely high level. My goal is simple, to continue to try and reach my potential by playing at the highest level possible, which is college soccer. No matter what situation I enter, it is my goal to earn my place on a team instead of it being given or promised to me. I simply ask for the chance to show anyone watching my abilities and from there they can make decisions accordingly. The key to being a success is to work harder than the competition so that you never can have regrets of not giving a little more. This goes the same for academics because at one point playing the game of soccer will end, and it is vital to have an education to lean on not only to be able to support myself and my family, but to be a productive member of society in general. Work ethic shows character and I am confident that given the opportunity I will be able to demonstrate this to my future college coach.
