Jose Blanco '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jose Blanco, and I am currently in my Senior year.  During my freshman year, I became a Varsity midfielder at the Eden Prairie High School in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. During my freshman year I was given the award to the most improved player of the season, and this Junior year I became captain and All-conference player. Similarly, I play at the highest soccer level in MYSA called Premier in my club. I am a starting midfielder. Additionally, I was a Coerver trainee since I was 8 years old.  When I was 12 y/o I've got invited to become part of the 2003’s Coerver Elite pool to train and play in Portugal with the Benfica football club for a month as part of the Coerver - Benfica program. During my month at Benfica, I got to train and play with players from all around the world. Most of these players were already playing for pro clubs for their age groups, and I got to be trained by a pro coach named Joaõ Milho.
