Christian Longo-Schumer '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Christian Longo-Schumer. 

I am a Senior at Minnetonka High School in Minnesota and I am currently a forward for Minnetonka High School Men’s Varsity soccer team. 

Over my last season, during the 2023-2024 school year, I scored 13 goals with 4 assists. In addition, while playing for 

Keliix Travel Soccer Club, I also scored 14 of the 17 total goals  (and 3 assists). I've been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. My drive and passion for the game really set me apart from my competitors because I strive to be the best: that mentality has made me the player I am today. 

As an athlete, I love to learn what can make me a better player and athlete and then apply it on the field and in life. I enjoy being on a team with players who go out 100% every practice because it fosters positive competition and a shared goal of being the best. I enjoy being a part of a team that provides a sense of family and brotherhood.

I am looking for a university where I can develop academically and contribute athletically. I would like to work under a coach and side by side with teammates who will push me to develop into the player and person I know I can become. I am not looking for a scholarship, just a spot on the team, and a shot to prove myself.
