Christian Engel '20 Recruiting Profile

I have played soccer for almost 14 years, since I was 4, and in all that time I was a forward and the teams top scorer.....until about 13-14 when I transitioned to goalie.  I was tall and competitive (didn't want anyone scoring:) and had great hands. I really enjoyed it and I did well. Ever since then I’d switched between forward and goalie..... until high school when I made the choice to be a full time goalie. I’ve made significant and quick improvements to my game and I still have a high ceiling and great potential to grow a lot more.  I see the field well because I have played all positions, and tend to know what the strikers are thinking and what they will do next. 

I am excited to play at the next level and look forward to the challenge.  I am ready for the journey and seeing my potential all the way through.....and taking the team and program as far as it can go.
