coming from a school where sports were often shed the light the deserve, my teammates and I were able to tune out the noise and have been steadily rising and have finally gained the reconition we so much deserved. winning conference my sophomore season and being projected to be one of the top high school teams in the state was truly satisfying unfortunately we did not fulfill. not living up to the hype was disappointing and somewhat demoralizing, however not only bad came from this, it bettered my chances of being a champion. By motivating me to train day and night to make sure history wouldn't repeat itself has now mad me proud to call myself a central minutemen, a conference tittle holder, a section tittle holder and a class 2A Minnesota state runner up.
