Rhys Tidwell '24 Recruiting Profile

As a player on the pitch and a person off of it, I always dream big.  I dream of playing in Europe, winning the Champions league and even the World Cup.  Currently, as a junior in high school, playing in college is a big goal of mine.  So how do I make that dream a reality?  I put in the work Every Single Day.  Every time I step onto the field, whether a local baseball field, a turf complex, or a pristine grass surface in a stadium, I am ready to work.  I do not, and never will, take what I have achieved and what I want for granted.  Every practice, game, or scrimmage, I give one hundred and ten percent to make my dreams come true, and make my family and teammates proud.  I fight for those who believe in me and prove wrong the ones who don‘t.  My aspirations on the pitch are matched by my goals in the classroom.  The circumstances and opportunities may be different, but my work ethic and commitment are identical.
