Alexander Densley '28 Recruiting Profile

From the moment I could walk, I’ve been chasing a ball around, and it’s been a journey that has shaped who I am on and off the field. I was born in London, England, and I could see Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium from my bedroom window—a constant reminder of my dreams to play at the highest level.

Growing up in Minnesota, I’ve worked hard to develop my skills and seize every opportunity to grow as a player. I’m proud to play for Minnesota United FC’s U15 Academy, where I train and compete with the best young players in the country. I graduated through MNUFC’s pre-academy program. My time with MNUFC includes competing in high-level tournaments like the Generation Adidas Cup, MLS Next Fest and Flex, and Patterson Cup, as well as earning valuable experience in MLS Next league play.

Before joining MNUFC, I developed my game with the North Suburban Soccer Association (NSSA), where I competed in the National Premier Leagues and was selected for programs like the Twin Cities Soccer League “Reps,” and US Club Soccer’s id2 National Identification and Olympic Development Program. In 2023, I also represented my school team at Mounds Park Academy, playing varsity soccer as an 8th grader. Contributing five goals and two assists, I received the high school’s “Young Player of the Year” Award and an Independent Metro Athletic Conference (IMAC) All-Conference Honorable Mention.

My goal is to play professionally at the highest level and/or compete in Division 1 collegiate soccer while continuing to grow my love for the game. I’m passionate about putting in the work, learning from my teammates and coaches, and pushing myself to improve daily. Soccer isn’t just a sport to me—it’s my dream, my motivation, and my greatest joy.
