Running has always been something I’ve loved. Whether it was racing friends through the neighborhood or using it as an outlet for stress, running has consistently been a source of joy and clarity for me. But it wasn’t until this year that I finally decided to take it seriously and join a track team.
Although I’m new to the sport in a formal sense, I’ve quickly found my rhythm. I currently compete in the 200m and 400m, with the 400 being my main event. This summer, I’m excited to step up and begin training for the 800m as well. Even in just one season, track has taught me so much about discipline, resilience, and self-belief.
What I lack in experience, I make up for in work ethic. I approach every practice with focus and a desire to grow. I strive to remain consistent, push myself toward greatness, and stay open to every piece of coaching and feedback I receive. I’m deeply coachable, and I see every challenge as a chance to get better.
This is just the beginning of my track journey, but my passion for running runs deep—and I’m committed to seeing how far it can take me
