Hi,
My name is Thiago Souza, 17 years of age from Sao Paulo, Brazil. My aspiration is my family and one of my goals in my life is to achieve a college degree in another country as my parents never attended a college or university. I am driven and passionate individual who works hard to be an example to my little sister and other individuals who can relate to me. I personally believe nothing in life is impossible or comes easy as long as you work hard to conquer your goals. Three years ago, I decided I was going study in United States. It wasn't an easy journey as my family had to make may sacrifices to save money so I can study aboard. Their sacrifices has made me more driven and determined.
I personally believe, I will be a great candidate for a team as for past three months I have been in United States without my loved ones but my focus and determination keeps me moving forward toward my goal to attend college and play soccer at the college level.
Growing up in Sao Paulo, Brazil is not just another sports but it is something you live and breath everyday. However, back home there is not much emphasis on education. My first love is playing soccer but at the same time I believe education is equally as important. I learned English on my own back in Brazil and currently in high school my GPA is over 3.0. I am very proud of my achievements and continue to grow given the opportunity.
