The most influential moment in my life was this year when we almost beat our rival, Carthage, but I accidentally scored a goal against our team. The fact that my team was not mad and just kept going showed me that it’s not just about winning, it's also about the team and the moments when you're playing.
Through playing soccer I have learned many things; for instance, I am very passionate about soccer and I love the game. Also I’ve realized that soccer is a relief of stress and anger. It also helps me focus and keep my eyes on what I want to do with my life.
My academic goals for High School are to have an accumulative GPA of 3.7 or higher, an ACT score of 27 or higher, and an SAT score of 1300 or higher. For college, I have not decided what I want to major in, but I know that I want to play soccer.
I first became interested in sports in 7th grade. I started training hard and I made the varsity team my freshman year. I was on and off the field that year, but my sophomore year I made varsity without a problem.
I’ve learned a lot from my time playing soccer. For example, when I was hurt earlier this year. Instead of giving up, I took the time to just watch and learn more about the game so when I got back out on the field, I was even better than before. Through my experiences, I have learned that I have a lot of perseverance and honor and I integrate these into how I play and I always play with my heart and soul no matter what the score or the obstacle.
