Blake Palmquist '17 Recruiting Profile

I know many players fill these online forms out everyday and that college coaches look for the specific players they need for their team, but one thing you should know about me is I may be small in size, but I'm a very diverse player. Throughout my soccer career Club coaches, Regional coaches, and even teams that I've guest played on, every coach has told me the same thing. "You're just too small." But, ever since than up till now I've been pushing myself to be more physical and to play more intelligently, since I lack size. Now that I have made those changes in my play, I've played for my High School Varsity being a part of a team that has won three State Championships in a row. Coaches have invited me every year to ODP Regional Camp, and I have been invited to ID camps. I'm a very technical player and love to have fun on the field and make things happen for any team that I play for. Academics are hard to keep up with when playing a sport all year round and I do my very best to get assignments turned in on time and to make sure I get any necessary homework done before any tournaments that involve missing school. My personality is well seen in the way I play on the field and off the field. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to be apart of something important in my life.
