Personal Statement
I have been playing soccer since I was 7, from that first year of playing I have had a passion for the game. I have always had a drive to be better and stronger, both for my personal achievements and for what I can do for my team. This does not end when I leave the pitch, I attend Coach lead, Hi-Intensity CrossFit classes 3 days a week, and do explosive training 3 time a week on top of CrossFit class. I do individuals with my Coach and do skill and move drills at home to sharpen my feet. While my individual training does cover keeper skills it also has a heavy focus on footwork and field drills. Even playing as primary Goalkeeper, I believe footwork and ball skills are very important and allows me to maximize my value to my team. My team even voted me as team captain. I believe you learn from your past but must always be looking and moving forward, especially as a keeper what happened in the last game or the last practice or even a minute ago is in the past.
