Angel Rubio '26 Recruiting Profile

Greetings coaches, I’m Angel Rubio. I currently play for Players SC 07 Boys Academy and I go to Cimarron-Memorial High School, I am 15 years old trying to chase a dream of playing college level soccer and eventually play professional someday. I am currently playing a attacking mid position for both my club and high school. 

I find that soccer helps me not be scared of anything even though there are times that I would be nervous but still give it my all. I remain at a 3.2 GPA at my high school, I always keep in mind that my academics are just as important as my soccer career.

Though I might not be the most fastest player, I use my IQ to get me out of pressure from my opponents. my strongest ability is being aware of my positioning, my technical abilities allow me to bring the ball down from the air without having it to bounce away from me, and just like I said I may not be the fastest player on the field, but my dribbling abilities help me get away from my opponent.

I find my strengths as a key to separate me from other players, I may not be the biggest or the tallest, but I am willing to work harder than anyone on the pitch. Me being a freshman makes me do that being one of the youngest players on my high school team. I know my teammates push me to be better everyday, so I know I’m not only succeeding by myself, I’m succeeding with my team.
