Personal Statement
The adversities which I have faced throughout my life whether it was through failure or success have helped me to become the best version of myself. The version of myself that realizes and acknowledges that the most important parts of the game are the mental and physical elements. The adversity which helped me become the player I am today was the losing of consecutive state finals which made me realize that I lacked both mental and physical preparedness. After this experience I allowed myself to grow mentally to be able to support more pressure. I believe that this improved mental health and preparedness will allow me to be a great fit in any team under any type of pressure. Throughout my soccer career I have been able to discover that I am able to withstand any type of mental and physical pressure and it has also showed me that there is no limit when it comes to improving as a student, person, and athlete. My interest for the sport first started when I was 6 years old from having a fascination with the ball to the love of scoring goals. Throughout my experience of playing both high school soccer and club soccer I have been able to develop certain attacking attribute which I believe will be helpful to your team. I possess attacking explosivity, great footwork, and speed both on and off the ball. The most important factor for me is a school that benefits me both academically and athletically.
