2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
Hello, my name is Tripp Rondero.
I am a fast and intelligent player who excels as a midfielder, with additional experience building play as an outside/wing back and winger. My strengths are my decision-making, technical ability, quickness, and calm leadership, which benefit my team both on and off the field.
My primary club experience has been with Barca Academy/FCBEscola. I've played and trained in that system for 7 years. In 2023, I trained and competed in an intensive three-month residential program with TOVO Academy in Barcelona, Spain. Todd Beane and Oscar Joquera, the former technical director of FC Barcelona La Masia led the program.
For 2 years, I played for the Varsity Soccer team at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire while getting a great education. My goal is to contribute to a college soccer program with a strong, winning culture and great academics. After I graduate in 2025, I will spend a gap year in Valencia, Spain, and play for ETURE. I am looking forward to improving as a player on and off the pitch.
