Nidal Almaree '18 Recruiting Profile

After finishing high school  I went back home for 7 months, where I had to decide should I continue my education or start a professional career in soccer, as I received a soccer sponsorship contract in Najran, Saudi Arabia. However, I received an educational scholarship to study in the U.S, a scholarship that covers full tuition and living expenses.

Tough decision, took me a year to realize that I could  do both meanwhile! I know my worth of playing the game, as I do daily. I am not a regular player, as I invested all my time and energy towards the beautiful game.  Big fan of the Brazilian creative style of play.

2020 and COVID-19 Pandemic stopped me from playing for a team, where I had to go back breath the street soccer everyday.

Since my childhood until today, I have lived in 6 different cities that shaped my mentality, specially on knowing the game more where I had to play in diversity and under pressure.

I believe a college degree is a mandatory step for professionals in general today, and that’s why I am in college before perusing in Football.
