Sebastian Arbogast '23 Recruiting Profile

I have a strong presence on the field and present myself as a natural leader. I have a very positive attitude on the field and always do what I can to be a team player. This has allowed me the pleasure of being captain for Black Rock at High Mowing School my senior year. I am involved, not only in the Black Rock FC soccer program during the academic year, but have been choosen to play USL2 for Black Rock FC. In addition to athletics, I am also on Student Council, Peace Cabin (a group working towards social justice), and a Resident Life Advisor. I am heavily involved in my school community and take pride in my academic achievements. My current year GPA is 4.33. 

I am proud to have received recognition by being awarded the Coast Guard Core Values Award. This award was presented to me in "recognition of Arbo’s leadership and commitment as captain of the boys Black Rock soccer team and as a member of the High Mowing student body. Arbo’s willingness to serve his coaches and teammates with humility and pride directly reflect the Coast Guard Core Values and traditions."

Additionally, I was recognized at the Next Level Showcase in September for my leadership skills on the field. In an article written by Sheldon Shealer, I was recognized as a stand out. Shealer wrote, "D Sebastian Arbogast, High Mowing (N.H.), Sr.: He’s a good leader and organizes well in the back. He steps up in the gaps and helped slow Darlington’s attack. He also keeps the team very composed."

My goal is to play for a strong program that can motivate and discipline me in a positive way on and off the field. I am looking forward to a program that can elevate my game technically and mentally, along with improving my knowledge of the game. I am not afraid of hard work and I am very commited and motivated. 

My current season statistics include 8 clean sheets, 1 assist, and 6 goals.
