Colby Jones '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, 

                      My name is Colby Jones and I am excited to take on a new chapter in life starting with college which will dictate what happens with the rest of my life. Soccer has been one of my passions since I was 6 years old and has played a major role in building my personality and character. Continuing on to the collegiate level has been a goal of mine since I began 7th grade and I am starting to take steps and turn my dream into reality.

Collegiate goals

1. Better my skills on and off the field 
2. Gain a higher education to help me later in life
3. Build my character as a person with my team 
4. Be a positive contributor to a great career of soccer with my team
5. Prepare myself to move on to life outside of school as an adult

Being part of a team has always been a great experience for me. I will do anything for my team to improve our game. I will push others and myself to play the game to exceed the best of our abilities. I see myself as a leader on and off the field with the teams and peers I interact with on a day to day basis. When I have a goal in my head for anything athletically or academically I will do everything I can to achieve that goal and will not give up.
