Playing soccer has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. Over the past decade, the game has developed me into the man I am today, and the opportunity to play at the collegiate level would continue to allow me to grow and develop into an even better teammate and leader.
Watching my brother and sister play as I grew up taught me a valuable lesson, that if you think you are working hard... someone else is working harder! Therefore, I trained more days than my peers, played in an older age group then I was and watched matches to learn more and more about the game. This mindset, over time, has developed me into being extremely coachable as I know learning from those around me can only make me better, much faster. In addition, surrounding myself with positive influences and identifying successful role models in my life has kept me focused on the ultimate goal of one day playing soccer in college.
My drive, determination and hard work also applies in the classroom. Constantly working on my academics to ensure that I am exceeding expectations and paving a way for my future! In college, I hope to continue to apply my work ethic to both my academics and athletics. I am currently interested in all collegiate options, through conversations and visits I hope to identify a college that is a great fit for me. The perfect fit would be a campus where I can thrive and succeed, ultimately paving the way for my future endeavors, while having fun throughout the journey.
