Luca Massimiliano Boehringer '28 Recruiting Profile

In my short time at Byram Hills HS, I am an A/B student.  My goals in college are threefold: (1) enlisting in courses that will continue to make me a well-rounded, educated, person and a productive member of my community; (2) selecting a major that I enjoy and will result in a successful career--both financially and personally; and (3) playing competitive soccer at a high level.  In order for me to realize my three goals, I am looking to attend a college that will challenge me in the classroom and on the soccer field.  A recruiting coach evaluating my candidacy should know that I am: (1) a positive, team-oriented, player who believes that the team's goals are more important than my individual achievements; and (2) coachable with a genuine desire for feedback to improve my performance.  A recruiting coach should also know that I am different from other recruits because I understand that: (1) when I play in a game I am responsible and accountable to my coach and team for my high performance as well as assisting others to perform at their highest level; (2) my passion for playing soccer at a high level and winning on the pitch is a direct result of consistent practice, hard work, diligence and the drive to continuously improve my skills; and (3) the principles of hard work, diligence and drive apply equally to my academic success--which ensures that a coach can count on me to be eligible and contribute to the team at every game.
