Eduardo Martinez '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, my name is Eduardo Moses Martinez. I am 17 years old and I was born in Jamaica, Queens on January 5,1993. I am a senior at Baldwin Senior High School. Ever since I was 5 years old I knew then and there that I wanted to be a professional soccer player. I am 5"8 and 145 pounds. My most important accomplishment is winning the Waldbaum's Cup Championship with my club team Bayside Strikers in 2008. I was never the captain for my high school or my club teams but I can definitely say that I am hardworking and I work hard on the field and off the field, making sure that I am doing well in school. I train everyday when I get home from school. I practice outside my house with the ball, I run 4 miles on my treadmill, and I exercise in my room or in my school weight room.To me it doesn't matter whether the school is big or small. My family does get help from the government financially. I work really hard and I have worked hard my whole life and I know that I deserve something like this in my life. My athletic goals are to go to college and play as a freshman and start every game and win many things. I also want to one day be the best professional soccer player in the world. I don't think it is crazy because I know I have worked hard my whole life and I know that one day all the hours I have spent on soccer will one day pay off.
