Cristian Martinez '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a Sophmore at Connetqout High School in Long Island, NY. I aspire to play soccer at the collegiate level. I currently have a 3.7 GPA. My education is very important to me and maintaining a high average is paramount. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 and truly have a love for this beautiful game. I currently play for my high school team and also play for my travel team. Something unique about me is, I am a highly motivated person, on and off the field and have published a book of poetry in 2021. I feel I am a leader amongst my teammates, setting a positive example on and off the field. I consider myself to be a motivated, focused team player. I am very coachable and always welcome advice and guidance on how to improve my game. In addition to playing soccer, I enjoy working out everyday and have become a Eastern New York Soccer Referee. I feel it is important to stay physically fit by staying in shape and eating right. I plan to attend a college focusing on finances or sports marketing.

I plan to use my traits of motivation, focus, leadership and hard work to succeed as a well-rounded student athlete.
