Jason Uhlinger II '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Jason Uhlinger II , I've been playing soccer since I was 4. I've always loved the game. When I'm on the field everyone counts on me for my outstanding passing skills, I can land a ball at teammates feet whenever I have ball possession, I have excellent ball judgement, I usually can always read where a pass is going, from goalie, to opponents, to teammates im where the ball is. I started really playing competitive soccer when I was 1O, I've always played for the ymca ,club teams and with the ayso program. When I was 12 I was the youngest player on the u15 thruway league through NNYYSL , we went on to win the lakefront empire cup championship in Rochester NY. My other club team won our division league. In 2014 I was starter for my 8th grade team, scoring 4 out of the eleven goals for the season, and having the most assists on the team. I'm currently still playing for a NNYYSL soccer club team, where I've been center back. I've been in the NNYYSL for 4 years starting every fall where I've had year around practices and small tournaments. I've participated in the Elks club soccer shoot out the past 4 years where I've placed 1st twice and went on to win 2nd overall in the northern New York region for shooting accuracy. This past 2016 season I was head captain of our JV team and starting sweeper.I've joined the SDA to help further my soccer training. I want to help people for my career path, so either the medical or educational field is my goal. It's my dream to play soccer in a college with high academic and athletic standards.
