Jacob Longo '20 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 6 years old and baseball since I was 10, but soccer has always been my passion  Playing both sports has help me improve my athleticism and kept me sharp.   I have always worked hard to improve my skills and knowledge of the game.  Over the years,  I have pushed myself to train hard and compete with both my school soccer teams and club teams with the goal of one day playing soccer in college.  I am confident that I can play at the college level and look forward to the experience.

As a player,  I am skilled at passing and shooting with both my feet and have good ball handling skills and field vision.  I am a very coachable player, listen to what is being asked of me, and try to make it happen on the field.  I am a leader both in practice and on the field by my hustle, work ethic, and encouragement towards my teammates.  I always work on having a positive impact during the game whether I am on or off the ball. 

As a student,  I have maintained a high 3.8 GPA and have been on the High Honor Roll throughout my Junior High and High School years.   I am also a member of the National Honor Society.  

I hope to pursue a career in Aerospace  Engineering or Cyber Security.  I also believe that going to college will push me in all aspects of my life and will greatly improve me as a person.
