Marcelo Rubio '16 Recruiting Profile

I can say that there are millions of players around the world that share the same passion as me. There are many players whom I've gotten the pleasure to play with that are personally idols to me. The difference between me and all those players is my mental ability. I know what its like to be on a losing team for most of my life but I've learned that hard will and determination can make losers into winners. I'm a leader, ask my parents, teachers and coaches and they'll all tell you the same thing about me. I can't stand to watch my teammates lose it on the field and let anger and other emotions ride them onto failure. I want to become the best that i can be, not only for me but for those whom no longer have the opportunity to play this sport. My brother is an example, at age 10 he was going to get sent to Italy to play professional but sadly was involved in an accident that changed the course of his life. I want to do this not only for myself but for my brother, to make him proud.
