Douglas Garcia '20 Recruiting Profile

Sports has always been a part of my life since I was a little kid, I’ve always been the type of athlete to not give up no matter how hard things may get. I’ve failed at times but I’ve picked myself up and succeeded. Besides being a student athlete and playing on an academy team, I find time to work at a job and do community service at church. In my academics I have taken honor classes and AP classes to further my education. I’ve written many sports articles for my school newspaper showing my talent for writing. Soccer is my passion and I treat each day as it were to be my last giving my 100% each time. I exceed expectation, in the academics and athletics. I work hard never settling for less, it’s always striving for more. I strive for greatness. People have doubted me, but I use that criticism to make myself who I am today , someone who never gives up. You have to believe in yourself to make a dream come true and dream crazy, dream big and accomplish them. Besides pushing myself I like to push others to be great because you should always want to be successful.
