Ever since I started playing soccer at age 2, I have fallen in love with the game. I have always known that I want to play at the next level. Always looking to get better and improve my game. I am willing to put in the hard work and discipline. From playing the game, I have had the opportunity to travel and meet new people. For instance, I had the opportunity to travel to Borneo (Malaysia) to play on a Hong Kong All Star team competing against many of the best Asian club sides. We won the tournament which was a great achievement but I was also able to experience a new country and meet other players from around the world. Just from playing the game I have learned so much about the world and life that can't be taught in a classroom. Regardless of what happens at the next level, the experiences that this game has already given me will be with me for the rest of my life.
I currently live in Hong Kong (for 5 of the last 7 years) although I was born and lived in the US. I play for the Hong Kong Football Club Academy team. The academy team leads up to the top professional division in Hong Kong. The league consists of other Hong Kong academy teams, many of which are filled with Hong Kong National Team players. The level of play in Hong Kong is very good as we play at European standards and many players are recruited to join European academy teams including a few players from my club team. I am the only American and my ambition is to play US college soccer. I am 14 and just finished middle school. I look forward to the next step of my development academically and athletically in high school.
For HKFC, I won the player of the year award and selected captain for next year's team. Unfortunately our team finished 2nd in the league, only 2 points behind the leader. For my school team, I was appointed as captain for the 3rd straight year. I also won the MVP for my school team. In the international school league here in Hong Kong, we won the league.
My ultimate goal is to play soccer at the next level all while trying to obtain good college education. I am dedicated to putting in the hard to help gain awareness and exposure to help find the right college fit for me.
