Matthew Strainz '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Matthew, I am 17 years old and I am from New York City. I have been playing soccer since I was 10 years old and started to take it seriously at the age of 16. I joined a club called Triboro United as a goalkeeper. The team took a chance with me by trying me out and letting me play an important game which I did very well on.

I have been training with a personal coach twice a week and training with the team three times a week. I picked up very fast on the sport I continue to improve my skills. 

My goals and inspirations are to continue my education and play soccer at a higher level. I am a very fast learner, very committed to helping my team and I'm looking forward to finding a good college to help develop my skill in all aspects.
