Donovan Sanchez '25 Recruiting Profile

As an aspiring college soccer player, I bring a combination of skill, dedication, and leadership to the field. My primary position is forward, and I also excel as an outside midfielder. I have honed my talents through rigorous training, including stints at the Juventus Academy New York (2023-2024) and my current team, Ramos Soccer International (2023-Present).

Unfortunately, an injury prevented me from trying out for my school's soccer team, but I haven't let that setback dampen my spirit. I am known for my insane technical ability, exceptional speed, and high soccer IQ. More than just a player, I am a motivator and a natural leader on the field. I am always striving to be the best player I can be, and I never give up. My determination and perseverance have become my trademarks.

In addition to my dedication to soccer, I am enrolled in challenging Regents and college-level classes, trying to maintain a balance between my athletic and academic pursuits. Furthermore, I am deeply involved in my community, volunteering at the food pantry in my church (2019-Present). I believe in giving back and being a positive influence both on and off the field.

As I look ahead to college, I am seeking an institution that will challenge me both academically and athletically. I am looking for a competitive soccer team where I can continue to grow and develop as a player. My long-term goal is to earn a graduate degree in business administration with a focus on aviation. I am determined to make my family, coach, and peers proud. Through hard work and dedication, I am committed to creating a better life for myself and achieving success both on and off the field.
