Spencer Goldberg '19 Recruiting Profile

I intend on attending a 4-year college that would push me to work my hardest and would give me an opportunity to succeed after I graduate. I believe I am a good candidate for any team because I work as hard as I can from the first minute to the last, leaving everything I have on the field for my teammates and coaches. Additionally, I can be deployed at almost any position with my positional flexibility being a valuable asset. I’m also willing to do whatever it takes to help my team win and always have a great respect for my coaches and teammates alike. I feel as though while many other prospects have similar grades, abilities, or character traits, I have a combination of all three. I was selected by my school as the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Award recipient, given to one student in each grade for their contribution and leadership in their community, which highlights my leadership and devotion to giving back to my community. In addition, I’ve maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout the entirety of high school while taking all honors and AP courses, which demonstrates my consistency in the classroom. Lastly, I am now a two year starting left midfielder for my school’s varsity team, who have gone to back-to-back section finals, winning this year with my game winning goal in overtime.
